The Lounge at the End of the Universe is a women & POC, owned and operated, Comedy Club, Cabaret, and Venue for hire.

Our mission is 3 parts: 

1. To offer top-level, national comedy talent, in an intimate setting (after all, laughter is the best medicine).

2. To build community within the performing arts and foster inclusivity so that it is representative of all people. We take on innovative projects and open our stage to younger/greener artists, and theater companies to help them grow their skills and talents to enter the professional arts world.

3. To offer a creative venue space for private events, workshops, and celebrations that will be cherished memories for families and organizations for decades to come.

Space

THE LOUNGE: This 2800-square-foot venue is located on the lower level inside the Gem Center for the Arts. It is equipped with a professional sound system, modular staging, theatrical lighting, an outdoor patio, and a bar. It is perfect for parties, receptions, reunions, seminars, and live shows. We offer Wireless Internet/WiFi for your use.

Capacity: Up to 180 seated guests, or 300+ standing-room.

Drink

The Bar is Open! The Lounge is licensed and ready to serve you a variety of beverages.

10 Beer Taps - Varieties of Wine - Hard Cider(s) - Canned Cocktails - Hard Sodas
Non-alcohol: Sodas - Carbonated Waters - Redbull
(Outside food catering is permitted during private events.)
